Wide range of IHC antibodies

Since 1983, PROGEN is an established antibody manufacturer with a broad portfolio of >400 IHC antibodies used for research and diagnostics of about      40 pathologies in 25 different organs/tissues. The DIN ISO 13485 certified company provides commonly used monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies for diagnostics, prognostics and the analysis of predictive biomarkers. Some of which represent the most common antibody clones used pathology community.

Immunohistochemistry (IHC) was invented in the 1940s and has developed to be a valuable tool for the identification of abnormal cells and cancerous tissues by using specific molecular markers. Additionally, IHC represents a excellent tool to analyze the distribution and localization of biomarkers and differentially expressed proteins in context of the specific biological tissue.

Trusted pathology markers

PROGEN´s tissue- & tumor -specific antibodies (see table) are widely used pathology markers for basic research and clinical diagnostics of a variety of cancers. Most of the antibody clones are well-established, highly published and robust tools in health care and pathology. To serve today´s urgent customer need for high quality and reliablility, all IHC antibodies have been externally validated and tested for optimal performance in relevant tissue and respective application.

The monoclonal antibody clones against keratin 20 (Ks20.8),p53 (Bp53.11),EP-CAM (HEA125) and vimentin (Vim3B4)are only a few examples for approved clones that have been well trusted in the area of pathology for many years.                All images © PROGEN in cooperation with University Hospital Heidelberg, J. Easy workflow from start to finish

Most antibodies are available in sample sizes for testing. In addition PROGEN offers the prohisto staining kits for an optimized workflow and a more powerful detection and visualization. The kits feature carefully synchronized secondary antibodies and staining solutions that save working and optimization steps. The prohisto IHC staining kits combine secondary antibody detection (prohisto-HiSec) and visualization with DAB substrate (prohisto-HiVis). All products are optimized for IHC, immunocytochemistry (ICC) and in-situ hybridization (ISH). Choose a HRP-coupled prohisto-HiSec kit and combine with the prohisto-HiVis DAB duo kit for best results. Also available as sets.
